Presentation:
The SNC SAINT LAURENT company is an owner of a hydroelectric power plant on the Moselle to EPINAL ( 88 ). The work was built in the middle of 1940s and consists of three gates segment and of a gate of hunting.
The dam is implanted on the Moselle in the kilometric point 530. There is no diversion of significant waters, and the dam causes one made uneven by 6 m approximately (source: SVDVP).
The dam is wide 64 m (width of flow 45 m) and is established by three gates segment and of a gate of hunting.
Gates are maneuvered by winches situated on piles of reinforced concrete. A watertight footbridge allows the access to the dam . A pass with fishes exists in right bank of the dam. The height of fall is of 5,5m.
